Jiangxi Footwear Exports To Europe And America Surged By 60%

Xinhua Nanchang, May 28, reporters learned from Nanchang customs, Jiangxi footwear exports to Europe and the United States market grew rapidly, exports increased by more than 60% over the same period last year.


According to Nanchang customs statistics, between January and April this year, Jiangxi exported 8 million 596 thousand pairs of shoes to the United States, worth 53 million 710 thousand US dollars, up 62.8% and 24% respectively compared with the same period last year; 3 million 61 thousand pairs of EU exports and 18 million 888 thousand US dollars worth, representing 66.5% and 65.8% growth over the same period last year.

Together, they account for 39.8% of the total export volume of Jiangxi shoes and 68.3% of their export value. The European and American regions have become the main export market for footwear products in Jiangxi.


In recent years, thanks to the gradient pfer of coastal industries, the footwear industry in Jiangxi is developing at a high speed, and the value of footwear exports accounts for about 4 of the central region and ranks first in the central region.

Between January and April this year, Jiangxi exported 29 million 279 thousand pairs of shoes with a total value of 106 million dollars.
